ESIEA — Engineering Degree, Bachelor Bridge Pathway (Entry into Year 4)

ESIEA Engineering Degree, Digital Engineering track — awarded by ESIEA, accredited by the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur (CTI), EUR-ACE labelled, SecNumEdu-certified by ANSSI — Bac+5 — Master's grade.

ESIP offers, in partnership with ESIEA, a French engineering Grande École founded in 1958 and a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles, a bridge pathway to the Digital Engineering Degree. This pathway complements the integrated 2+3 programme and is designed for students who already hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a solid academic foundation in digital sciences, who wish to join directly into Year 4 without repeating the full curriculum.

Year 4 is delivered on the Pondicherry campus, in full alignment with ESIEA's academic requirements. Upon arrival, each student chooses a Major specialisation track from five options, and benefits from joint supervision by ESIEA and ESIP faculty. A mandatory 4 to 5-month internship completes this first year, with a work-study format available. At the end of this year, the student joins an ESIEA campus in France — Paris or Laval

for Year 5, the year the degree is awarded: deepening of the Major, choice of a complementary Minor, access to more than 107 double degree pathways, and a mandatory six-month final internship.

The degree — the ESIEA Engineering Degree, accredited by the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur (CTI), EUR-ACE labelled, SecNumEdu-certified by ANSSI — is awarded by ESIEA. It confers Master's grade and opens access to engineering positions of responsibility across all sectors of the digital economy. 100% of ESIEA graduates find employment within two months.

Pathway structure — 2 years

Year 4 · Pondicherry — Entry into the bridge pathway. Choice of a Major specialisation track from five options: Cybersecurity · AI & Data Science · Virtual Reality & Immersive Systems · Embedded & Autonomous Systems · Software Engineering. Innovation & Digital Project. Mandatory 4 to 5-month internship, in France or internationally. Work-study format available.

Year 5 · ESIEA France — Degree — Major deepening, complementary Minor choice from nine options, double degree pathways available, mandatory six-month final internship. Conferral of the ESIEA Engineering Degree — Master's grade.

ESIP provides on-site coordination, local academic support and student accompaniment during the year spent in Pondicherry. The degree is awarded by ESIEA upon completion of the two years of the bridge pathway.
