Rosiane Houngbo-Monteverde

Rosiane Houngbo-Monteverde has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2009 and holds two Master's degrees in law. Her profile combines a high-level French legal education with over fifteen years of international operational experience in France and the Gulf region. Based in Bahrain since 2012, she advises companies and individuals on complex cross-border legal matters: international business law, private international law, company law and the international mobility of employees — covering expatriation, international assignments and cross-border employment situations. Her practice at the intersection of civil law and common law jurisdictions has given her an in-depth understanding of the legal and commercial environments that govern international business across the world's two major legal traditions. Alongside her legal practice, she served for eight years as an elected representative of French nationals abroad and chaired the Commission on Laws, Regulations and Consular Affairs of the Assembly of French Nationals Abroad, contributing to the examination of legislation affecting French nationals living overseas. Her teaching covers French law, business law, company law and labour law, combining legal rigour with a practice-oriented approach that enables students to bridge legal theory and business reality through practical case studies inspired by international commercial transactions and cross-border legal issues.
