Jennifer Josephmarie

Jennifer Josephmarie is a French as a Foreign Language teacher, holding a Master's degree MEEF "Teaching in France and Abroad" (iNSPE Cergy, 2023–2025) and a Bachelor's degree in Developmental Psychology (Université Sorbonne Paris Nord). A native French speaker and bilingual Tamil speaker, she also holds B2 level in English and B1 in Spanish — a multilingual profile directly aligned with the requirements of the ESIP Language Studio. Her teaching experience has been built across varied and demanding contexts. She currently teaches at the Alliance Française in India, working with adult non-Francophone learners from A1 to C1 level, adapting teaching materials to multilingual settings and preparing students for DELF examinations. She has also worked as a primary school teacher in France, developed pedagogical sequences for young learners, and participated in a university exchange at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands, where she led French language courses for non-Francophone students. Her ERASMUS placement at O. Kalpaka School in Liepaja, Latvia, gave her direct exposure to a foreign educational system and the practice of adapting methods accordingly. Her background in developmental psychology deepens her pedagogical practice with a precise understanding of learning mechanisms and group dynamics — a particularly valuable asset in multicultural environments. Her experience as a French-Tamil interpreter at the CPAM further strengthens her ability to operate with precision at the interface of two languages and two cultures. At ESIP, Jennifer Josephmarie teaches French as a Foreign Language within the ESIP Language Studio, drawing on direct experience with Indian learners gained at the Alliance Française. Her command of Tamil enables her to establish an immediate pedagogical and cultural connection with students, facilitating their progression toward full professional proficiency in French.
