Christian de Boissieu

Holder of the agrégation in law faculties (economics), a State doctorate, and a graduate of Sciences Po Paris, Christian de Boissieu is Emeritus Professor at the University of Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne). He has also taught at Sciences Po Paris and the College of Europe (Bruges). He is a member of the Académie des technologies, the Académie des sciences d'outre-mer, the Académie de comptabilité, and the Royal Academy of Belgium. He chairs the Fondation Concorde and serves as Vice-President of the Cercle des économistes. He previously chaired the Conseil d'analyse économique, the economic advisory council to the French Prime Minister, and served as a member of the Board of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF). A prolific author, his work covers monetary economics, finance and banking, economic policy, and European affairs.
