Carole Brunel

Carole Brunel is an international business development and operations professional with over 25 years of experience built across multiple continents — Europe, Africa, the Middle East, India, Australia and the USA — in corporate, humanitarian and multicultural environments. Her career covers a broad and complementary spectrum: international business development, strategic key account management, supply chain and procurement, operational management, consulting and professional coaching. She has held significant responsibilities at leading organisations — MSF, where she managed supply chain and procurement operations in complex international field environments across Africa and the Middle East; Sun Microsystems, where she led purchasing activities across South European operations in close collaboration with the US headquarters; and GlaxoSmithKline, where she managed purchasing within a multi-site production environment. She has also managed an international purchasing portfolio of approximately €70M in key account management mandates. Since 2005, she has practised in parallel as an independent consultant and coach in France, Spain and India, supporting professionals in career development, professional transitions, positioning and employability. Her expertise in intercultural communication, coaching and soft skills development is directly informed by sustained professional exposure to multicultural teams and international stakeholders across every phase of her career. Her contribution at ESIP unfolds across two complementary areas: developing the relationships between ESIP and the French and Indian corporate world — building partnerships, creating international business opportunities and developing strategic networks — and supporting students and professionals in their preparation for international professional life, through career coaching, soft skills development and intercultural communication.
